About Shire School of Motoring
Shire School of Motoring is a family run driving school based in St Albans Hertfordshire. Husband and wife team Alan and Nel Dismore are co-directors of the company and bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the driving school which has been operating since 1994.
Our courses are based on the Department of Transport approved syllabus as published by the Driving Standards Agency. We endorse the agency's motto "Safe Driving for Life".
It is our belief that correct skills and awareness, together with defensive driving techniques learned at an early stage, can significantly reduce the risk of accident and injury on our roads.
Our team of highly professional male and female instructors, have many years experience in teaching people to drive and can provide driving lessons in St. Albans, Harpenden, Welwyn Garden City, Hatfield, Hemel Hempstead, Watford and surrounding villages.
We use modern dual-controlled cars both manual and automatic, under the guidance of DSA registered instructors.
